The Critical Current #1
What is news literacy?
Now that we are in 2016, news and media is very easy to be accessed through; the television, the internet or even with the old school newspaper. However all that is on the news or media may not be all true. It may be bias, changed, or maybe even completely wrong. That's where news literacy comes in handy. News Literacy is the ability to analyze and judge the reliability of the source of the headline. It is useful, especially if learned at an earlier grade level because it can help distinguish between facts and opinions given by the source.
